Homemade Ketchup

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz tomato paste
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¾ cup water
  • 2 tsp sugar (I use cane sugar)
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients into a medium size pot and mix until smooth.
  • Place your pot over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the contents start to bubble.
  • Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the pot from the stove and let cool.
  • Store your ketchup in the refrigerator, in an airtight container (I like to use a larger mason jar).
